God is very important to the jews.the Jews belive that God made a covenet with Abraham saying that kings and nations would come from his descendents.jews believe that God gave them the ten commandments through Moses.the jews also believe that there is one God and and that he deserves all our praise.they believe God created the earth and that God is apart of everything that is of the earth.

ABRAHAM
Abraham is not only important to the jews because God made a covenant with him. He is also important because he is a great role model to all jews.his faith and dedication to god are both things that make him a role model.Abraham was given many faith testing trails but passed all.one of these trials was to leave his family and all he knew to follow God. Abraham did this without question.this was one of the reasons God made a covenant with Abraham.

Moses is important to the jews because he brought them out of slavery.the Israelites were slaves in Egypt.they were brought out of slavery through the miracoulous signs God showed to Pharoh through Moses.the jews believe that God gave the Israelites the Ten Comandments through Moses.Becuase of the Israelites lack of faith and complaining the people ended up wondering in the wilderness for 40 years.after this the people came to Canaan.the promise land.the land overflowing with milk and honey.

SOLOMON
Solomon was the son of king David.He was also king Davids successor.he is important to the jews because he built the first temple.the temple is important to the jews because after Solomon built it the temple in Jerusalem became the religious center of his kingdom.that was the only place sacrafises and other important rituals were preformed.

Spinoza was born in Ansterdm on the 24th of November 1632.he was a jewish dutch philosopher who wrote a book called the Ethics.the Ethics is about 200 pages long and is divided into five parts.Spinoza believed that all religions could live in peace.although he was jewish he especialy believed that jews and Christians could live together.Spinoza is important to the jews because he was a big part of biblical crtisism.today many jews interpret their faith according to biblical crtisism.biblical criticism is to look at biblical writings and then make a judgement and or interpret the writing.
