1900 B.C.-God created a covenant with Abraham and his descendants, the choosen people. The covenant said that nations and kings would come from the descendants of Abraham. After Abraham came Issac then Jacob. Jacob or Israel had 12 sons. Those sons make up the 12 tribes of Israel which were the Israelites. The tribes moved to Egypt and were enslaved.

1200 B.C.-Moses takes Gods choosen people out of Egypt were they were enslaved.after wandering for 40 years in the wilderness they finnaly came to Canan ,the promise land.they conqured the local people of the promise land and truly had the land.
